CASTING GUIDE
From mold to statue in 3 steps

Mix 1 part castor oil with 15 parts rubbing alcohol in a squirt bottle and spray the inside of the rubber insert. Then set the insert in its fiberglass shell and secure it with bolts or clamps as needed.
Apply and assemble

Mix your concrete
2 parts construction sand (not play sand), 1 part small gravel, 1 part Portland cement. Add water until creamy. A drill with a mixing paddle works fine, so you don't need a cement mixer.

Pour and shimmy
Fill the mold about halfway, shimmy and twist it to bring up air bubbles, then fill to the top for your perfect piece.
